They are widely used in the processing of cylindrical workpieces for boilers, pressure vessels, and petrochemical machinery, and are particularly suitable for welding internal and external seams as well as circumferential and longitudinal seams on cylindrical workpieces; they can also be used for surface hardfacing and welding long seams on large structural components. In addition to welding, other work heads can be mounted at the front end of the manipulator for tasks such as cutting, grinding, painting, and non-destructive testing, making them highly versatile.
