Robot bevel cutting workstation can be divided into two configurations one is basic configuration and the other is advanced configuration. The basic configuration includes cutting robot, binocular camera, cutting power supply, cutting platform and dust removal system. The bevel cutting work is automatically completed by the robot, and the loading and unloading of parts is completed manually. The advanced configuration is to add handling robot, binocular gripping camera, grinding platform and other auxiliary devices on the basis of the basic configuration to realize automatic loading, automatic cutting, automatic discharging and so on.

Products Introduction

Robot bevel cutting workstation can be divided into two configurations one is basic configuration and the other is advanced configuration. The basic configuration includes cutting robot, binocular camera, cutting power supply, cutting platform and dust removal system. The bevel cutting work is automatically completed by the robot, and the loading and unloading of parts is completed manually. The advanced configuration is to add handling robot, binocular gripping camera, grinding platform and other auxiliary devices on the basis of the basic configuration to realize automatic loading, automatic cutting, automatic discharging and so on.

The workstation adopts a kind of teaching-free programming method based on 3D vision, electronic drawings, and offline software. The electronic drawings (generally in DXF format) are imported into the offline programming software, the edges to be cut are selected, the bevel parameters are set up, the cutting program is automatically generated, and the cutting process is simulated to see if the cutting process is correct. When cutting, the robot will first take a picture of the part and scan it to determine the exact coordinate position of the part, and then cut it to ensure cutting accuracy.
